STRACO XC UNITES MTB CYCLISTS AND TRAIL RUNNERS UNDER ONE EVENT

PUCHONG, Tuesday 15 December 2015 : For the first time ever, mountain-bikers and trail runners will be able to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of Paya Indah Wetlands in Dengkil through Straco XC Jamboree and Runboree 2016, scheduled to be held on the 17^th January 2016.

Organised by Straco Venture Sdn Bhd, the jamboree and runboree combo event is aimed to bring together mountainbike enthusiasts and trail runners to participate in one event simultaneously.

Speaking in the launching of the event, Straco Venture Sdn Bhd CEO Robert Kau who is also a cycling enthusiast, said that this is not like any jamboree. “This event is a unique platform for cycling enthusiasts and passionate runners to converge and celebrate their common love for outdoor sports in one special place.”

“There will also be an exciting carnival-like atmosphere as the colorful groups of cyclists and runners race and hang-out together, the participants are encouraged to bring their family to enjoy a full fun day of activities, there’s food trucks, games and lucky draw to keep everyone entertained.”

This event also serves to bring awareness to Autism, where the organizer passionately supports as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative. The funds raised from the 10% of Straco Venture Sdn Bhd net profit for this event will be donated to the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM).
